Is the AOB honored in all states?
No, the AOB is not honored in all states and is only located on the contracts in applicable states.
Can my AOB be denied by my Insurance Carrier?
Yes, in some states the carriers are allowed to deny Assignment of Benefits. If the happens to you we will reach out and request your involvement in settling the claim.
Does the Assignment of Benefits (AOB) apply to ALL parts of my claim?
No. The AOB you signed is only for the emergency tree removal portion of the claim. If your home or property was damaged you will be responsible for that portion of the claim.
Does the Assignment of Benefits (AOB) release me from having to pay my deductible?
No. By law, we are required to collect the deductible.
Does signing the Assignment of Benefits (AOB) mean that I never have to talk to the carrier about the emergency tree removal?
Unfortunately, some states and even some carriers do not honor or recognize the AOB. If this occurs, we still try to handle as much of the insurance matters as possible, but we might still need your assistance. If we do we will reach out with instructions.
If I sign the Assignment of Benefits (AOB) does that mean I can deny you access to my insurance carrier?
We ask that you honor the document that you are signing. In the event that you do not adhere to the items you agreed to or delay payment with your carrier for the emergency tree removal, you can be held financially responsible.
